Hello, hello... It's been a good while since I last published a post on here after having a whirlwind of a time in Orlando last month and having some upsetting news in-between. I just didn't feel like having an online presence this past month or so after the news and just spending time with our new bundle of joy (which I will update you more on very soon). He's growing so quick and I just want to spend as much time with him as I can - as you can never be prepared for the unexpected.
Moving on to more happier thoughts and the reason as to why I'm back to share this beautiful bag with you all!! Furla is a whole new brand to me and you might have seen my other Furla bag pop up in a previous post here. This is a raw leather bag that's been constructed in a way to show the construction of the bag and the leathers inside. I absolutely adore this bag for its unique characteristics and find it the perfect bag for popping down to the shops, unlike my latest edition which comes up slightly smaller in size. Yes, I'm talking about the Furla mini metropolis - an absolutely stunning bag and so much better in person than it shows online.
I was very sceptical about this bag for some time before purchasing after watching various YouTube reviews on the bag and it's versatility and then researching into the different colours and styles on offer in this particular style. Anyway, one day I noticed this bag on Very Exclusive in the most stunning of bright yellows and fell in love with it from seeing it online but even more so in person. I was all for returning this bag but after receiving it in person I was smitten.
[pipdig_padded_text padding='250']I can't even begin to tell you how useful this bag was to take abroad with me to Orlando and for future trips away to somewhere sunny/hot. The size was ideal for taking with me onboard alongside my backpack for more space and I just popped all my essentials inside from phone, wallet and face creams for the flight. Once landed this bag was even more useful for taking around the theme parks carefree and for evenings. I used this bag almost every day of my trip and loved how compact it is but it fits SO much in comparison.... [/pipdig_padded_text]
Comparing this bag to my other Furla it is more versatile as it works perfectly for evenings as well as travel and casual days back at home - it really is the perfect all-around bag. I think what sold me with this piece is the bright yellow pop of colour against the gold hardware, it's such a stunning contrast and I just adore it... I teamed the Furla with navy blue pinstripe trousers for this outfit as I generally love the way yellow stands out against deeper blues. I also went with a pastel purple belt from ASOS with gold circle hardware to the centre and nude Nike huaraches for a more casual vibe. AllSaints has been my ultimate style saviour when it comes to these cropped raw hem hoodies and I've practically been living in these (even in the summer months) they're just so versatile and look great with just about everything!! I've even packed this hoody in black to take on the flight with me to keep warm and for evenings when it gets slightly chilly.
