Welcome to 2018!! A fresh start for most and one of my favourite times of the year to look back on fond memories made and the start of fresh ones to be made!... However, you spend New Years I hope it's magical and it allows you to make way for an even better 2018. Speaking of fresh starts I've been working on minimizing my wardrobe over the past couple of months to staple pieces that I absolutely adore. AllSaints has been a firm favourite of mine for years now for the quality pieces and the fact they go perfectly with everything in my wardrobe.
AllSaints is very similar to my designer favourite Alexander Wang for simplicity and ease of use. I can literally team anything with these basic pieces and the quality of the fabrics means they are investment pieces that will last years with the right care and love. I think for me personally I enjoy pieces that look relaxed and teaming them with more fun/playful accessories and structured footwear to really make the outfit pop and this is exactly what I've done here to create an outfit that's playful in style but also comfortable.
Unfortunately for us, it started to snow heavily during the photo session and then turn into heavy sleet but thankfully the images turned out amazing and really add depth and character to the overall scenery and outfit.

[pipdig_padded_text padding='250']Black Friday was my ultimate beauty/skincare splurging time and I picked up some incredible pieces such as the Juvia's Place eyeshadow palettes and decided to try it out The Zulu Palette for a pop of colour. My god, it's amazing!! As you can see from the images the colours are super pigmented and so buttery!! The application was effortless, so I can't wait to get showing you guys this palette in all it's glory with some swatches to follow suit. As for lipstick, I went with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Pure Hollywood Matte Lipstick, which by the way I've been using non-stop. It's just a stunning everyday neutral and works well with all makeup looks.[/pipdig_padded_text]
A super cosy cropped fitting hoody made from the finest wool and alpaca blend fabrics with a chic raw hem finish for a relaxed vibe. The texture of this hoody is very soft and warm and it caught my eye so much that I had to pick up all three colours. Scotland gets very cold during the winter months and wool is my go-to fabric at this time of year to keep warm but stylish. What I LOVE most about these hoodies is the fact you can wear them alone and still be warm without the need of an overcoat. It's definitely my best sale steal this season and now a much-loved part of my collection.
These are a MUST have if you are looking for the perfect all-occasion trouser. You can really play around with these to match in with casual wear as a tailored jogger or as a tailored trouser for sophisticated events or social events. It's a great all rounder and another favourite of mine as the material is very warm but comfortable for the colder months. The slim leg and ankle cut off really make these work for all occasions and every season and I love how well they pair with the cropped jumpers from the AllSaints A/W17 collection.
My go-to footwear for casual occasions and these work really well with the ankle cut trousers and go with literally everything in my wardrobe whatever the season. I always make sure to have these in my footwear collection as it's the perfect shoe to put on when I find myself stuck for footwear that goes with some tricky pieces in my wardrobe! I can always guarantee these will work... However, for more dressier occasions I would swap the trainers for a pair of heels such as my Stuart Weitzman nudists, as these would work perfectly with this outfit for drinks on a Saturday evening.
