This is my first ever experience with Pretty Little Thing as an online clothing retailer that tailors budget-friendly pieces with a high-quality finish. I say high quality because for the price the fabrics are beautiful and the overall finish to each garment is done to a particularly high standard for the price range. I was pleasantly surprised at how well fitting these pieces are and especially so for a size 6! The pieces weren't tight and just fitted like a glove.
The Pretty Little Thing X Olivia Culpo collection is a mix of Italian heritage with Mediterranean glamour. You have some classic pieces which I've picked up and done a try on haul with below, such as the black-tie waist shirt dress and lace playsuit with romantic ruffle sleeves. This whole collection oozes romance with the delicate lace fabrics and materials used, not to forget the pretty ruffles to the sleeves and the crop top I also received.
The frill detailing to the pieces I picked up is much different to anything I have in my wardrobe and just updates my classics for Autumn and Winter. I absolutely adore the detailing of these pieces and love this white lace Bardot dress in particular as it features gold ring let detailing across the body and fluted sleeves for added glamour.
I'm pretty excited now to make another order and try some pieces from PTL's very own casual wear range and see what the quality of these pieces are like and if they are of a similar standard to the pieces I recently received and showcased in the haul. I think these pieces are perfect for evening and casual wear however if styled with a pair of leather ankle boots or trainers for the day and strappy heels for evening. You can really work with these pieces to get lots of wear out of them.
If you watch my full try on haul below you will get an idea as to what the garments look like on in a size 6 and my thoughts on the pieces! Make sure to give the video a like if you enjoyed watching! x
Olivia's line is stunning with a wide range of fabrics and finishes to choose from at a budget-friendly price and surprisingly enough the quality and finish of each garment I received are of better quality than the likes of Boohoo and Missguided which are of a similar nature. With that being said Boohoo does amazing pieces that work out great value for money and wash really well but you do need to shop around and try different sizes. Missguided hasn't been on my radar much as of late as I just find the materials and quality is of much lower value than it used to be back in the day.
Pretty Little Thing, however, is definitely onto something with their wide range of clothing, covering evening and casual attire and let me tell you it's most definitely blown me away. They've never been on my radar before as I thought the clothing would be of similar quality to that of Missguided but I was completely wrong. If you're looking for reasonably priced pieces that give you value for your coin then I can highly recommend PLT.
Have you heard of Pretty Little Thing before? What're your thoughts on the range?
