Boohoo's having a moment on here again with this beaut ass dress from their occasional wear range!! I'm absolutely smitten with this piece for its classy aesthetics and sexy off shoulder finish that's perfect for day or night with its minimal appeal....
Dresses are a great option for summer and make putting together an outfit super easy and it's even better when you can find a dress that works just as hard for the day as night and this is exactly what this piece does. The style is classy and looks super chic with a choker necklace and strappy heels for the evening, but for the day I've opted for a fresh pair of white Nike Huaraches to keep things casual for day. The overall design and pretty flared sleeves really add character to this piece and you'd never think this was from the high-street end of the market as it truly does look luxury with the shape and fabric used to hold the shape effortlessly and give a slimming appearance with the body hugging material.
You really can't go wrong with this dress if you're looking for something different and unique that stands out this season but still fits in nicely to a minimal themed wardrobe to get many different uses from. Your options are endless when it comes to styling this dress up as it works so well with everything because of the simple white and black colour scheme. I actually teamed this dress with bright yellow mules for the evening and I loved how the shoes popped against the all white and it just gives off a really chic summery vibe for the warmer evenings when out for a meal or drinks with friends/family.
Nike has always had a firm place in my wardrobe when it comes to off-duty footwear as I really enjoy how light weight the materials are and how well they support my feet and most importantly look fashionable. I've wanted to get my hands on a pair of Nike Huaraches for ages now and my luck struck when Very had a huge sale on, so I treated myself to a pair in white and black. The styles different to any other Nikes I own and I actually like how they look with this dress as they do give off a classy look without it being too overpowering when it comes to wearing trainers with a dress. I think the white finish helps with this aspect as it blends in well with the dress and leaves the focus on the dresses details, which is was I wanted.
To finish the outfit off I wanted to keep it as casual as possible without it looking over done for the day, so opted for my Puma X Rhianna mesh bomber jacket to wrap around my waist and then a pair of large gold tinted sunglasses from Quay Australia. I've come across Quay a lot on the likes of Instagram but haven't bought into the brand myself until now and I can't believe I wanted to long as these seriously mean business! The frames are stunning and suit my face shape really well... I think this might be a new obsession of mine as they look and feel designer without the high price tag and have a unique style to them, which I love!...
