All blue is something I love for the summer months, matching with highlights of white where possible. I teamed this feminine Bardot top with distressed jeans for a more relaxed vibe and really like how it's turned out with my tinted Ray-Ban frames....
Liquor and Poker are killing it when it comes to good, affordable denim and this particular style is one of my favourites for the warmer months (yes, I get a lot of odd stares and questions about how ridiculous they are!). To prevent the blues clashing I went with white details and accessories to lighten the colour scheme and really like the contrast! The pop of gold detailing from the jewellery also stands out beautifully against the colours too!...
This is the kind of outfit that would look just as cool worn in huaraches as it would minimal strap heels for the day. My favourite heels that work really well with these jeans is the Stuart Weitzman Nudist Heels in black. As for the Bardot top, this has to be the statement piece of this outfit for the summer months with it's chic off shoulder detailing and relaxed, oversized vibe. I picked this Bardot to up from John Lewis under the AND/OR line which screams Scandinavian vibes. It's a beautiful piece and I would recommend sizing down if you fancy it for yourself as it is very oversized! Even in the small as the elastic band stretches out to give a relaxed fit on the shoulders. If you're looking for delicate fabrics this season, I would also recommend the Somerset by Alice Temperley line for soft, light-weight fabrics to beat the heat this summer.
I personally think this outfit looks really fresh for summer with the lightweight fabrics and light colour scheme to keep you cool during the heatwave... Let's talk about these feminine pieces of jewellery from New Bridge Silverware in a stunning 14k gold finish (separate post coming on these soon!...). I teamed the wishbone pendant with this outfit as it worked really well with the fabrics and stands out beautifully sitting just below the collar bone. These pendants are beautiful and the simplicity of the designs works really well for spring and summer when it comes to wearing lower cut tops. You might have also noticed these pretty star stud earrings, also in 14k gold that I absolutely adore! I think these would make a wonderful gift for someone special and the quality really is breathtaking for the price point.
Ray-Ban has been a cult favourite sunglasses brand of mine for their quirky styles and tinted frames so after coming across these babies a couple of months back I knew I had to have them in my collection. This tint is timeless for summer and winter with the bright blue finish and gold hardware to the frame and legs. I just love them and find they pop against most of my outfits as the colour really stands out.
