With the warmer weather kicking in I've been looking towards lighter makeup and I thought I would share with you, my first ever first impressions dewy  makeup for spring; using some new in products and old favourites.

Skin refresh for spring with Snake and Bee Venom!!...

This is a great mix of affordable and high-end products and I love how light this makeup look is for every day and it's really simple to achieve if you're looking to have a makeup refresh for Spring. I absolutely loved the products and couldn't actually fault them! I must admit the Cougar Beauty Product liquid lipstick was very long drying and not at all snappy; meaning you definitely couldn't apply this in a hurry! This was the only disappointing factor from the range and was unexpectedly blown away by the DD Snake Venom Foundation. I never had high hopes for this product and the packaging isn't the most attractive of the bunch but ohh myy it's a good one! The coverage isn't all there for my problematic skin but I can imagine this gives a flawless finish on more normal skin types. The way it made my skin glow really was something else and teamed with the Vichy foundation they both worked like a dream!...

What can I say I'm completely besotted with these products and can't wait to experiment with more make-up looks now that Springs here for a fresher take on my regular makeup routine. I'm still not ditching the heavy foundations yet mind you, but I will be making a conscious change when the suns out to skip heavier products and reach for more lighter products. I was really excited about the Skin Chemists Bee Venom serum and loved how you could really feel the product working into the skin and leaving that tingly feeling as it helps to tighten, firm and brighten the skin all at the same time! It's a wonder product and my makeup was left sitting really well all day and I think it helped with the overall dewy appearance.

  1. This makeup looks beautiful on you! Even though I love all the dark shades that are around in Winter I really do think the lighter, bronze-y and dewy shades are my favourite in Summer and Spring! This makeup look beautiful on you, can’t wait to watch the video.

  2. Love this makeup look – it’s perfect for spring! And the bee venom serum sounds really interesting. I will definitely have to check that out 🙂
    Have a wonderful week <3
