The weathers have been incredible here this past week an for that reason I've been super busy and posts have been lacking the past week and following into this week so I can only apologise for this! I've been incredibly busy getting prepared for my driving test next month as I actually failed it a month or so back so going in for round two, and hopefully this time I pass. I've also managed to get more hours at work so officially working full time now on top of running my blog, so pretty excited about this aspect and hoping to get more organised to make this work.
You'll have to excuse my awful handwriting but notepads are always a desk must have and I always have my to-do lists in easy to see places so I know what to do that particular day before heading off to work! I actually carry my notepads around with me everywhere in my handbag alongside a huge notepad for taking notes and writing outposts on the go. I always feel my most creative when it comes out of nowhere, and for this reason alone I always make sure to have pen and paper to hand. I picked up these mini succulents in Tesco at the weekend and love how cute they look in the miniature pots and they just add a breath of fresh air to my workspace.
I've been loving these Jadu Tea* sachets lately and enjoying the loose tea blends during the warmer weather to perk me up during the day and they come in a nice treat alongside my favourite monthly magazines as part of my me time. I'm hoping to do a full review on the tea blends soon but loving them so far and excited to try some of the other blends that I haven't got around to trying just yet but excited about the whole concept and the luxurious packaging. I've always loved my tea blends and do prefer the stronger brands as they have much more depth of flavour and always enjoy Teapigs but Jadu Tea has definitely diverted me to trying out more from the range.
Something I use almost every day for reading and working on my PC is my London Retro glasses* from Glasses Direct! I just loved the design of these and the whole retro vibe to them with the modern twist of gold to the frame. The tortoiseshell finish makes these stand out and they have to be my most loved pair in my collection purely for the uniqueness of the design and how fun and quirky they are to wear. Lastly, we have my new iPhone case* and notepad from Paperchase, there's nothing like a jungle print to get you in the mood for summer and I like how both of this compliment each other so well with the similar design and colour scheme. You can see more of the notebook in my "What's in my work bag" post from a couple of weeks back and currently making this into my blogging notepad with technical bit's and bobs to do with WordPress and hosting, to more lighter stuff such as fun post ideas and other relative things to my website.
Hopefully, everyone's been enjoying the weather as much as I have and I'll be making sure to get more posts up this coming week. I have a small decor post coming up soon with some new pieces I've been buying lately and excited to share these with you all but for now, I hope this post has inspired you to get some new summery pieces for your desk space.
