Am I excited to share this post! Finally, the suns starting to shine and the warmer weather is gradually creeping in; This calling for a wardrobe shake up and my feet are happy to breathe again in my favourite sandals from the likes of SENSO (which I’ll be doing a collection post on soon!).
I’ve picked out my summer essentials and what you should also be buying into this season to keep on trend and give your wardrobe a total refresh for spring and summer. These have to be my favourite accessories at the moment as they’re super chic and playful with the pretty pastel tones and bright pops of colour to compliment my outfits.
I’ve always been a sucker for natural jewellery and love the pieces bespoke pieces from The Serpents Club, this quartz crystal in-particular being my favourite for teaming with low cut and v-neck style tees. This piece is very minimal and that’s the reason why I like it as it stands out but still looks super chic when paired with the right pieces and one of my favourite necklaces for summer for it’s natural aesthetic. Mini pastel bags have to be the ultimate spring/summer accessory to refresh your wardrobe and this one by Marc.B is perfection! The Laura cross body bag* makes for the ultimate statement piece this season and actually reminds me of my favourite designer bag from Mulberry, being the mini lily (which I’m still to buy). The shape and design of this bag really is on another level and it’s perfect for day and evening wear teamed with all black or a cute pastel coloured outfit. The chain detailing adds a nice touch to the bag and gives it more of a luxurious feel and look and I like how easy it is to carry around all of my essentials in.
These midi rings from Orelia are essentials of mine for the minimal appeal and to keep my spring and summer accessories fresh and on trend. These work great season after season because of the minimalism of the design and the pretty rose gold finish. These go perfectly with everything and highlights your freshly manicured nails beautifully whilst adding a touch of sass. I spotted these suede SENSO sandals on VeryExclusive and new I had to have them! I’ve loved SENSO for years now and own two other pairs from the Riley collection and enjoy how comfortable the sandals are to wear and how stylish they look on. The SENSO May suede sandals have a smaller chunky heel with pretty wrap tie detailing for spring and summer to update your footwear this season. The camel tone really adds character to these and they go perfectly with everything in my wardrobe it was hard to resist NOT buying these!! The wrap-up design adds some much-needed character to my outfits and they also look super cute which is a bonus!
You might have seen my last post on my huge SleekMAKEUP Lip VIP collection and this shade hasn’t left my handbag and it’s going to be used more coming into summer. The formulas are super hydrating and creamy and give a stunning semi-matte finish; Flaunt It* is a punchy bright orange that just screams “look at me”. The shade really amps up my casual wear on the weekends and looks even better against crisp whites and neutral tones. It’s the perfect summer shade and adds some fun to your lipstick collection if you love brighter shades for the warmer months. Sunglasses are the must-have essential for summer and in fact all year round!! These ones from Calvin Klein are much different to anything else I own with the T-Bar design that really makes these ones stand out from the rest of my collection. I love the tortoiseshell finish to these for spring and summer and they work well with everything else in my wardrobe with the minimal design. Juicy Couture also just recently released a new collection of watches for spring/summer 16 with the cutest of designs and I couldn’t resist snapping up this toucan print Jetsetter watch. It’s cute but so chic for teaming with my outfits this summer and it just adds a nice bright touch with the unique jelly strap detailing and pastel blue tones mixed with pinks.
