With Mothers Day just under a week away and spring starting to make an appearance I wanted to put together some of the best in jewellery, fragrance and homeware for the months ahead.
My mum is my world and someone that inspires me every day and I think that’s why every day should be appreciated and not just one day a year! Giving surprise gifts is always a thrill for me but for Mother’s Day, I always enjoy splashing out a little more to treat her to something nice like a new perfume or luxurious chocolates.
Having just bought my mum a new pair of Bedroom Athletics slippers this was not an option for Mother’s Day so I’ve put together the gifts that will make it this Mother’s Day and my personal favourite being candles and pretty bouquets. You can never go wrong with bouquets and chocolates and I always find this a failsafe option if you’re rushed for time or completely forgot! However for those of you who are well prepared looking online is the best way to grab some unique pieces such as beautiful pearl earrings like these ones from Pandora or a simple charm bracelet. My mum loves charm bracelets and it makes for the perfect personalised gift that will last a lifetime and this one from Links of London is dainty enough for everyday wear and you can add lot’s of charms to your heart’s desire.
I’ve been obsessed with Flamingo candles recently and got my mum on board with these gorgeous candles as the scent lasts hours and they burn really well. I’m hoping to do a full review on my Flamingo candle collection soon so, for now, you’ll just have to take my word for it that these are a must have and would make the perfect gift. Moving on to another candle brand that recently sent me some lovely pieces from their range for Mother’s Day is Party Lite, in all honesty, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect but since moving into my own place candles and diffusers have been everything and I’ve become slightly obsessed. I’ve featured my favourite homeware pieces from Party Lite in this post and could see my mum loving these too! The diffuser holder and sticks is a winner and let me tell you the smell is incredible! It’s very strong and scents the whole house! You can add as many sticks for a strong scent or remove some for a more subtle scent, it’s entirely up to you. The tea lights can be placed in this hand-painted butterfly holder featured above and what’s cool about this is the fact it lights up in the dark and glows through the delicate porcelain to give a relaxing atmosphere. The last thing I want to talk about is the 3 wick jar candle, this is beautiful and it’s the centrepiece in my living room now and the peony scent really is gorgeous. I’m not sure how you can get your hands on these Party Lite products as they’re sold exclusively through a Consultant but you can always enter your postcode to find one close to you.
I haven’t even done a full review of the Jo Malone English Pear and Freesia fragrance yet but hoping to get one up soon as it’s beautiful! I’ve lusted after Jo Malone for so long now and happy that I caved and treated myself to a bottle for my Birthday last month. My mum loves Jo Malone and Viktor and Rolf Flower Bomb is her other must have at the moment! The reason why I feature Jo Malone is purely down to the pretty attention to detail and incredible customer service. If you want something extra special this is the place to go as everything comes beautifully wrapped and presented; Did I mention you can also get your fragrance bottles and candles personalised using the Jo Malone engraving service?
