How beautiful is this chiffon, lace embroidered maxi dress from Vera Moda? I literally feel like a Greek goddess when wearing this and being in Greece at the time, it felt right to include this in an outfit post.
I actually saved this dress for evening wear when it’s cooler but that very day was colder with huge gusts of wind. Later that evening we were welcomed with a huge tropical thunder storm which took me by surprise, it was absolutely spectacular. I really liked the attention to detail with this dress with the semi-sheer finish, making it the perfect piece for the warm weather and the crochet bodice really sold this piece for me, it’s the epitome of feminine!! The detailing to the hem was just as beautiful and just makes this piece stand out against the other maxi dresses I was eyeing up.
I styled the maxi dress with these comfortable pool sliders from Beach Athletics and love how comfortable they are for everyday wear as well as pool/beach wear; they just make the perfect all round multi-tasker. As the wind got worse I decided to layer the dress up with this lace kimono as it’s the perfect piece for taking on your travels for the beach and when the weather starts to cool down! Make-up was kept minimal with a pop of colour using my favourite pillar red lipstick by Nars.
We strolled throughout the town of Lindos whilst taking these shots and it was our first chance to let everything soak in and try out some new cuisine and find new beauty spots. We spent most of the day walking around the market(s) and having a nosy around all the shops to then finish off with lunch at our favourite cafe Mosaic.
With a love for minimal, sustainable pieces. Finalist in the UK Blog Awards & Company Magazine Award.
