I’ve been a huge fan of the Alpha-H skincare range and the fact this particular exfoliant contains ‘Glycolic Acid’ really appeals to me! Alpha H Micro cleanse is a granulated exfoliant which is formulated with tiny microbeads. Micro cleanse also contains rice bran and 12% Glycolic Acid, this being the perfect remedy for acne/blemish prone skin to remove impurities, exfoliate dead skin cells and repair the skin over time. It also contains refreshing cucumber and mint for a nice cooling sensation on the skin when scrubbing away!
Cucumber and mint banish signs of fatigue and stress for more revitalised skin (Not that I’ve noticed much difference in this area). I’ve been using this exfoliant for just over five months now and I still have half a bottle left!! This stuff really is made to last, and it just makes the high-end price more worth it in the end, for a product that actually works with nice ingredients that last ages… The benefits I’ve noticed from using this really are astonishing and my skin feels so much smoother with a natural glow after using this scrub.
Not only does it leave your skin super soft but it also helps calm down blemishes and helps repair scaring to the skin over a couple of weeks of constant use (I use mine 2-3 day’s a week). The texture of my skin has improved significantly and the redness of blemishes has been reduced. Another thing I really like about this product is easy to use pump function, making it much more hygienic and easier to use in the shower for the right amount of product.
The product itself has a thick creamy consistency and leaves your skin with a slight tingling sensation when left on for a good couple of minutes (I normally leave mine on for 2-3 minutes), this sensation is like the Alpha H Liquid Gold but not as powerful. The tingle sensation comes from the active glycolic acid and it’s great you can feel it working deep into the layers of the skin for a more vigorous treatment. The refreshing mint smell really sells this to me and I do find this exfoliant powerful and extra scrubby, which I prefer when it comes to cleaning oily skin. to really get deep into the pores and remove dirt and dead cells, for a fresh-faced look and feel.
What’re your thoughts on this? Do you like harsher scrubs?
