So here we are with my first outfit post on the new blog design, something a little more summery and laid back from the weekend. You might have noticed me sporting these Carrera sunglasses constantly on Instagram this week, they’ve basically not left my face since I opened the package from Sunglasses Shop.
Ever since the warmer weathers come in over the Easter break, I’ve noticed a huge surge towards the laid back, oversized shirts and this one from Boohoo really is a steal! It’s perfect for warmer days and goes with almost everything, p.s I recommend to size down with the shirts, they’re huge! This is a size 6 and it’s still massive, ha, ha. You can really play around with this shirt and roll up the sleeves for when it gets warmer, and try different ways of styling it with the concealed placket and abundance of buttons. I really like how the shirt brings out the Carrera sunglasses, and really brings them to life! These sunglasses have to be one of my favourites at the moment and definitely, a must have this summer with the vintage pantos design and modernised blue lens.
Finishing the outfit off I just had to get my new Dune London hobra ghillie sandals out and would never have thought these would go oh so well with the extreme rip boyfriend jeans by Liquor and Poker, I mean what! They really tone down the outfit but still keep it eye-catching with the pretty lace detailing and pointed toe. Keeping accessories basic I went with this pretty jade choker necklace and tree branch bangle, both by The Serpents Club for a more down to earth vibe and really enjoyed how this outfit came together with the mixture of blues and greens. Later that day I and Kyle went for a walk in the sunshine and really enjoyed the sudden heat wave we’ve been getting and it’s still going on today, so fingers crossed it’s here to stay!
