Suddenly it’s feeling a lot like Spring already in Scotland, with the warmer weather starting to kick in! Since Sunday it’s been so warm, and a part of me is hoping the warmer weather stays, but another part of me feels it’s way too soon for winter to just be over.
This outfit is based on my current obsession ‘pearls’, so I decided to mix different tones of grey to really blend in with the minimal outfit and let the pearl pieces really stand out. It also comes at such great timing with the new 50 shades of grey film coming out later on this week ;-), I must admit I haven’t yet dabbled with the books, and don’t think I ever will, but that could change! I might however go and see the film, as there’s been a lot of mixed reviews on it recently 🙂
Back to the outfit and you might have noticed these pretty jewels made from freshwater pearls. The first piece is my favourite Kasun London Ring, and it’s something I will most definitely have forever! The other beautiful pieces are these pretty pearl earrings by Joshua James Jewellery that go ever so well with my Kasun ring, and they look incredible for casual and evening wear with the dainty, yet sophisticated design.
I’ve practically been living in polo necks and recently found these huge chunky knit ones in the H&M sale in green, black and grey, and really like how warm they are but most importantly, how easy they’re to layer. I also just recently bought this long duster coat with side split detailing from Very in the River Island section, and noticed Very stock different styles, as to what you would normally find on the main River Island website. This duster coat is perfect for Spring and really warm too! The fabric comes in a thick knit with different shades of grey, making it a great stand out piece but still sticking to that minimal style. Are you going to see the 50 Shades of Grey Movie? Whats your thoughts on this outfit? xo, Jenny
