SCHOLL COMPACT MANICURE SET
I have used products from Scholl before and really like the idea of this mini manicure set and how everything comes neatly packed inside this cute compact case. This set will come in perfect for travel and general use as the case makes it easy to store away without clutter.
The Scholl Compact Manicure Set will be available from retailers, RRP £34.90
I had a similar kit to this many moons ago from boots own brand and loved how convenient it was! This set is even better as my last set broke and I never got around to replacing it in the end. Having this set has made me realises how much easier it is to keep my nails in great condition whilst giving them a quick shape and buff. The manicure pen is easy to remove and grips easily in the hands to give you more control when using the shaping and buffing tools! Everything fits snug in the storage pouch, meaning you will never lose the attachment pieces 🙂
Up until now, I used to do my nails manually using The Body Shop Nail Block and this comes with four different uses such as shape, buff, file and shine, however, when it comes to this kit things are made so much easier! You get nine attachment tools to attach to the main manicure pen and you can switch these about as often as you like to get perfect results. I have noticed that you don’t need to charge the manicure pen often, probably once every 7-9 weeks. I always use this set every week alongside the Manicure and Pedicure Set from Scholl at the weekends as a nice pamper treat and the pedicure set also comes with a handy built in nail dryer, which I love for drying nail polish faster.
The manicure pen comes with five-speed settings and each one is just as effective at shaping and buffing the nails! The seven different attachments are as follows:
1. Small Fine Shaping Disc: Shapes and files the nails
2. Large Coarse Shaping Disc: Shapes and files toenails
3. Filing Cone: Smoothes nail edges and remove dead skin
4. Thin Pointed Cone: Shapes nail corners
5. Thin Rounded Stone: Smoothes nail surface and removes dead skin
6. Cleaning Brush: Cleans nails after shaping
7. Polishing Brush: Smoothes and buffs for a glossy finish
8. Hand Held Cuticle Stick: Manual cuticle pusher
9. Polishing Stone: Smoothes and polishes nail edges and nail surface
I like how each attachment feels and you don’t even notice the appliance shaping or hurting your nails in any way when using the device. It can seem scary using an electronic tool to do your nails but it’s not painful at all and does the job nicely! 🙂 It’s definitely easier and quicker than doing your nails manually and works more effectively I would say!
