How to Wear Blush Pink this Autumn

Today has to be one of the coldest days we've had so far this year! Thick frost can be seen for miles out my window covering every roof slate and grass. The heatings most certainly on and I'm enjoying a strong black coffee to get me geared up this morning to write this post. As soon as the frost hits you know winter is here...

I've been noticing blush pinks flying around lately in the shops and online and love the way these colours brighten up my Autumn/Winter wardrobe and even better they can be re-used come Spring/Summer. Blush pink is my new favourite colour which actually works as a nude pink too! I love it teamed with white, navy or black and it looks even more cute against grey. I've already got a couple of pink pieces from the summer months such as this J Brand Harlow Jacket. It's definitely a cult favourite of mine and something I enjoy throwing on now and again to brighten up more minimal outfits to add character and colour with the distressed detailing.

I actually picked this denim jacket up in a larger sizing for a more oversized fit and I personally like the way it looks and it also comes in great for layering with once the temperature starts to drop even more! Even with this specific piece being more grungy, I still think it's very feminine with the washed out pink colour and silver hardware to the buttons. To match the jacket I've gone with a long ribbed pencil skirt from River Island. What can I say, this piece is a MUST HAVE!! It's super cosy with the soft, thick fabric and goes with absolutely everything! I just love it.

I've brought out an old favourite that I purchased just after I first started blogging and still have it to this very day in pristine condition (four years later). This is one of my favourite evening bags but I also use it for dinner dates and days out. It's so chic and I love the fact it's made from faux leather but still looks and feels like the real deal. This was rather pricey for it being faux leather but the craftsmanship is still there with beautiful stitch work and the inside is just as beautiful as the outside. I adore the look of this bag and love the gold finish to the hardware and the chunky draw chain...

I managed to track down this very bag (or similar) on Very Exclusive if you fancy having a look at it (link below) as it really is the perfect bag for Autumn/Winter and very roomy for all of your essentials and more.... The beret is something I've been accustomed to as of late for its thick wool fabric and chic design. This piece keeps me warm on cold mornings and I love the simplicity of these hats and they add character to the simplest of outfits.

You might have already come across my J Brand Haul but I don't share my videos often enough on here, so I've popped the video below if you fancy having a look into my J Brand collection from jeans to tops and speaking of tops I'm wearing a simple white cotton ribbed one from J Brand which I manage to pick up on The Outnet a couple of months back. It's the perfect staple piece and speaking of staples I also have the Acne Studios Jemma boots with a 3inch heel to boot.

These are my favourite style for the colder months and the heel adds some extra height to my petite frame and looks really chic paired with skirts, jeans and dresses this season. I've also shared the non-heel version of these boots for my taller readers that wish to invest in a classic pair of ankle boots. I actually have my eyes on the flat Jensen boots in pebbled leather but holding back this year to invest in bags instead of shoes this time around. I will, however, pick these up at some point and might even nab them in the summer sales if possible! x

Are you wearing blush pink this Autumn/Winter??

xo, Jenny
