Summer Active Wear

 

Summer active wear is something I always find hard to nail when it comes to gym gear or casual running/walking kit - for days when it's too hot outside to go running in the gym. I always like to keep my options open when it comes to my fitness regime and love a good stroll on warmer days to get some fresh air and to skip the gym for something a little different. When I'm not skipping the gym for long walks around the countryside, I like to keep my kit light and opt for breathable fabrics.

Summer Active Wear to Beat the Heat In...

 

I guess this is where my active wear inspiration comes from when it comes to showcasing the parts I've worked hard on to achieve and focusing less on the parts I still need to work on. These Nike Pro HyperCool shorts are perfect for giving you that figure hugging look with a tight, stretchy Dri-FIT fabric that also comes with a breathable layer to keep sweat at bay and make your workouts more comfortable. Moving on from shorts (which I have many pairs of) to this chic marble crop top from Adidas. This fitted crop top is sure to turn heads if you're opting for a stylish gym kit this season with its minimalist design and mesh panel technology.

 

To finish my active wear off I've tamed a bright red gym bag aginst the minimal pieces to carry my protein shake in and other protein snacks for the day before heading off to work. I rearranged my gym routine to fit in with my blogging schedule so I have more time to put into my work before focusing on my body goals and then heading off to work in the evenings, this way my life is pretty well balanced out and now I just need to nail the diet part to achieve that slender abdomen. 

 

Nike Huarache's / Nike Pro Shorts

 

My body goals have been simple from the start after joining the gym full time four months back now and committing myself to four times per week. Four times a week might seem like a lot to some but I actually enjoy this time to plan ahead and work on my goals and healthy lifestyle. I normally stay for a good two hours or less but can alway guarantee it's much longer than an hour unless I'm having a REALLY bad day per say.

 

Apart from that I fully commit myself and have already been noticing the results creeping up on me slowly! I'm not one to document my progress, so I haven't really been keeping track but have noticed my thighs getting thicker and my stomach slowly toning up (This is more to do with diet - which I'm admittedly terrible at!). Yes, diet has a huge art to play in the stomach region and this is my down point as I find it hard to commit to eating a certain amount of food each day with time not being on my side. I'm a busy person and find it hard to plan out meals on top of other commitments, but I think I've been doing okay!.....

You might have noticed these Nike Huaraches popping up in my recent outfit posts a lot and that's because I can't stop wearing them!! They're super light weight and super supportive for the gym and running in...
