A couple of months back I was lucky enough to pick up the Limited Edition Jouer Cosmetics Mermaid Range and this has to be one of my favourite make-up looks using the stunning eyeshadow palette from the collection.
Mermaid Eyes & Nude Lips for Evening.
The Iridescent Eyeshadow palette is beautiful and highly pigmented to create a number of stunning looks that just look super pretty for evening! I’ve also used this palette as a highlight using coconut on the brow bone, cupids bow and it works perfectly for creating a more prominent finish. I was playing around with the shades from this palette and love the idea of a mermaid inspired look and really like how it turned out. If you have this palette or a similar one then you have to try this look for yourself as it’s perfect for the winter months to make an impact on a night out. To get started I went in with the Vichy 16HR Foundation to create the perfect base for this look and then used the Illamasqua Radiance Veil to give luminosity to the skin and also used this as my highlight and eyeshadow primer.
Jouer Cosmetics Iridescent Eyeshadow Palette.
After setting the base I then started on the eyes by building up colour in the crease using the shade “Dreamer” (Dark blue shimmer), I then went in with “Splash” (Stunning light blue shimmer) to the base. To open up the eyes I then went in with “Coconut” (Pretty white shimmer) to make the eyes pop on the inner corners. To finish the eyes off I then used my favourite Esqido lashes in Big City Nights to give more volume and depth to the look for evening. Brows are kept simple with a warm chocolate brown using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow and I’ve went with a classic nude lip using the Jouer Cosmetics Liquid Lip Creme in shade “Melon” for a pretty matte finish that compliments the bold eyes really well. This look is fun and perfect for Autumn/Winter if your looking for something a little different. I paired the look with a stunning lace jumpsuit in the most gorgeous of teal shades and a statement choker.
What’s your thoughts on this look? Will you be trying it out for yourself?
