Channelling the spirit of extravagance, I've teamed this chic bow tie suede skirt with a light knit River Island top.
This look is effortless for day or night with the sexy thigh highs but still keeping the look sophisticated with the maxi length skirt. I love how this adds a chic edge with the neutral beige tones. To match the skirt I went with this Top Shop suede effect cap for a more casual twist for the day. This outfit works just as hard for the evening if you remove the cap and add some simple jewellery to bring a touch of glamour to the look. I couldn't believe my luck when I picked up this gorgeous suede skirt from ASOS in the sale and to my surprise, it's still on the website and has been for months! I can't begin to fathom why this piece isn't selling as it's absolutely beautiful.
The bow tie to the top of the skirt and deep middle split is the main point that sold this piece for me as it gives a really unique finish to such a simple skirt and just looks incredible with everything. I normally tuck in large jumpers with this piece especially now that we're coming into Autumn/Winter as it's versatile enough to wear with oversized tops/jumpers or more fitted pieces such as bodysuits but still keep you warm during the day/evening. I really can't fault this skirt and the sandy beige shade makes it even more dreamy and the fact a suede skirt is definitely one of those wardrobe staples! You can get imitation suede which works just as good as the real thing if you're against wearing leather.
