Huda Beauty Matte Lipsticks for Autumn

Autumn is most definitely in the air, you can feel the crisp cool breeze coming through in the mornings and it has to be one of my favourite times in-between the warmer and colder months. As the seasons change so does my make-up and I was torn between the Kylie Lip Kits and Huda Beauty's new range of liquid mattes (I went with the latter).

Huda Beauty Liquid Lipsticks - Perfect Shades for Fall.

Autumn brings on a more muted tone when it comes to make-up by replacing bright bold shades with more darker, muted shades. This is one of the main reasons why I love Autumn so much as it's during this transitional time that I can really experiment with my make-up and enjoy the deeper hues, as I find these most flattering to my skin tone and hair. I picked up three shades from the Huda Beauty collection that I think work perfectly with the season and I'm sure you will love these just as much as I do.

Muse

-

This has to be one of my favourite shades from the three just because it's met with a beautiful matte finish and the most prettiest of muted purple undertones. This compliments my skin really well and it's definitely a unique colour in my lipstick collection and perfect for the season ahead. The pink undertones of this is stunning with a dusty rose/mauve finish and would look beautiful on most skin tones as it would also work really well going into spring.

Flirt

-

This more cool toned and has to be one of the darkest shades in my collection! Comparing this to the Jouer Cosmetics (Noisette) it's very similar in colour but slightly darker. This is the perfect taupe brown shade for fall and will compliment most skin tones! The formulas non-drying and very easy to apply. This is one of Huda Beauty's favourite shades from her collection and I can totally see why! It doesn't wash out my pale skin and really compliments it well.

Madusa

-

Very similar to Muse but makes for the perfect everyday shade! This has a more purple tone to it compared to Muse and is slightly darker in shade. Again another stunning shade that's very wearable and would look even better teamed with my new Morphe Purple Eyeshadow Palette for Autumn/Winter or other shades of pinks/browns.

To sum the collection up I couldn't be more happier with the results from each shade! The formulas non-drying, very lightweight and comfortable on the lips. The price point isn't too high and I'm still torn between the Huda Beauty & Jouer Cosmetics matte lipsticks and both work really well and have a variety of pretty colours. Application is a dream and the formula dries pretty fast to give you that eye popping matte finish, which I for one adore as it's my favourite lip texture. I'm excited to add to my collection now and going to go for a bright and dark red next to add to my classic lipsticks and I've also heard others saying that the formula of these lipsticks is much better compared to the Kylie Jenner kits and not as drying!

I'd also like to quick point out that these formulas are made without parabens and phthalates making them perfect for those who want a cruelty free product and even better they're free of gluten too! (something I've never really come across in the beauty world). These were also produced in Italy and the packaging is to die for! I mean how amazing does the box look? The packaging itself comes with a separate sleeve to protect the lipstick and keep it looking new.

What's your thoughts on these lipsticks? Have you tried them yet?

xo, Jenny
