If there’s one thing that stands out to me with this stunning palette is the beautiful creamy consistency of each shade that blends beautifully for a flawless finish. For this look I’ve went with just two tones from this palette, that being “Vetenana Red” and “Love Letter” for a pretty pink combination featuring light and darker tones that combine into a romantic make-up look perfect for any date night or special dinner.
Pink Eyes with ABH Modern Renaissance Palette – perfect for romantic date nights!
Brows: For brows I used the Seventeen Brow’s That* eye brow kit. This is something I rarely use because I find the ABH Dip Brow more suited to my oily skin for staying power compared to this powder formula, but do find it natural looking for work days and it went nicely with this subtle pink look. Base: As usual I use the Urban Decay Potion Primer as my base to let my eyeshadow last longer and show up brighter to let the different tones of pink shine through. Brow Bone: To highlight my brow bone I went with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Gleam Glow Palette in shade “Crushed Pearl” to give a cooler feel to the overall look and it also goes perfectly with the pink tones of these eyeshadows from the Modern Renaissance Palette.
Lid: In the centre of my lid I’ve gently pressed “Buon Fresco”, the matte formula of this warm plum pink works really well with the darker shade of “Love Letter” and it gives a nice texture to both shades when worked together. Crease: I’ve used “Love Letter” in my crease and blended out from the lid to below the brow bone for added definition.
Lashes: I then coated my lashes with lashings of Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir false lash effect mascara. I then used the Vichy Fluid Corrective 16HR foundation and Anastasia Beverly Hills Gleam palette in shade “Tourmaline” to highlight the cheek bone. Lips are bold with a romantic twist with my favourite matte liquid lipstick from Jouer Cosmetics in shade “Cassis”, a stunning cool toned violet to team with the warmth of the Lord and Berry Vintage Rose lip pencil, a pretty pink combination to finish the overall look.
