My skins always changing when it comes to the warmer months and it stresses me out! It seems to get worse but somedays it can look as good as ever! I know! Confusing right? I’m just starting to get a good regular routine using the same products to balance my skin out and loving the new NAOBAY organics collection.
This collection is super light for the warmer months and allows my skin to breath whilst using some of the most luxurious natural products from the line I’ve ever used. What really stands out to me about this brand is the beautiful packaging and it really captures the natural concept of the products. Another thing I love is the smell of each product, more so the moisturiser as it’s real fruit and refreshing to use in the mornings. I’ve been using all three products for the past month as part of my new routine using lighter more natural ingredients on my skin to improve the overall appearance and sort out troublesome blemishes.
First up we have the “Hydra Plus Face Toner*“, a refreshing toner to calm and clean the face packed with soothing aloe vera and marshmallow extract. My skins never felt so soft since using this toner and it might actually replace one of my favourites from The Body Shop, that being the Vitamin E toner but both are very similar in effect. It’s perfect for removing remaining product from the skin after cleansing in the evenings and doesn’t have much of a scent to the formula, it’s very subtle. It’s great for calming redness on my skin from acne and active blemishes and just leaves smooth and refined. I think this would work perfectly for mornings and evening because it’s such a versatile toner that can be used for all skin types! It’s a must-have for me during summer to keep my skin fresh and hydrated.
We then have the “Oxygenating Cream Moisturising*“, simply put this is your moisturising day cream to use before your makeup application. This helps to moisturise and soften the skin with a blend of Rosehip, and sweet almond oils, whilst protecting from environmental damage and free radicals. What’s great about this is the fact it helps to balance the skins hydrolipidic film, this helps clear blemishes and keeping oil at bay. This is like a skin drink for my skin as it melts into the skin beautifully leaving the perfect base for my make-up with a mattifying effect. The scent of this particular product from the NAOBAY collection is marvellous, bursting with juicy fresh oranges, it’s the type of smell that instantly activates the brain making it perfect for those early mornings. I really enjoy how breathable this formula is and how well it works before applying my makeup! My skin couldn’t be happier and it’s definitely one of my favourite moisturisers to date and one I will be repurchasing.
Lastly, we have the “Moisturising Peeling*“, best described as a facial milk with natural peeling particles from the Acai Palm Tree. The face peel gently exfoliates the skin to remove surface cells and reveal brighter, smoother skin below. It also helps to reduce fine lines with olive oil, sweet almond oil and Shea butter to hydrate and protect the skin. This also contains Gotu Kola extract that works t soothe the skin after using this peel as it can be slightly harsh, depending on how much water you use. This doesn’t irritate my skin or make my current blemishes worse! I’ve noticed my skin looking much brighter and smoother since I started using this scrub daily and find it light enough to use every-night compared to some scrubs that can be really harsh. You can make this scrub as light or harsh as you like depending on how wet your skin is! I like this aspect as it lets you play around a little with the texture and get a good balance between washes. I normally use just over a pea-sized amount and gently massage it into my skin but then apply more pressure on the forehead to get a much deeper scrubbing motion.
All of these products are not tested on animals and packed with natural ingredients; 12% – 29% of these ingredients are sourced from organic farming; depending on the product.
