Nudestix Matte Blemish Pencil

Whilst browsing through Cult Beauty a couple of months back I noticed a brand called “NudeStix“, this is a brand I’ve never tried and was eager to learn more about. After visiting their YouTube channel for more information the Matte Blemish Pencil was the product that stood out most to me to help keep oiliness under control.

I adore the product presentation with the nifty metal case to store your products in and a handy mirror to the top of the lid (perfect for popping in your handbag). Using amazonian clay to mattify the skin and salicylic acid to treat breakouts, minimise redness and irritation. I can’t live without this little stick and it’s helped me a a lot during the winter months and will be even more useful for the summer months when my skin gets irritated much easier. I’ve used this pencil so much as it sharpens really well and you most definitely get value for money with this little stick as it lasts months. It’s perfect for minimising bacteria on the skin by sharpening away the pencil from time to time when it gets blunt; this keeping the skin fresh and clear.

The crayon looks green but once applied to the skin it’s completely clear, in other words you wouldn’t even know it was on your skin! It mattifies beautifully and I can really notice the difference when it comes to applying my foundation and just feel my skin looks clearer and I have the benefit of knowing it’s treating my skin and not just masking the problem. This is a product that does so much good things at once it’s definitely worth trying for yourself if like me you suffer from occasional breakouts, oily T-zone and acne.

This will be brilliant for the warmer weather as I’ve just started to notice my skin breaking out really bad this week from the mini heat wave and after applying this over the problem areas I’ve not experienced any more irritation or breakouts. The formulas really creamy and easy to blend into the skin to leave me with the perfect base to apply my make-up after applying my moisturiser beforehand. This pencil also contains Vitamins E and C to soothe the skin and protect it alongside jojoba seed to keep the skin hydrated.

Have you tried this pencil yet or any other from Nudestix?

xo, Jenny

    • I know right! The packaging totally sold me with the cute mental tin and mirror inside, perfect for slipping in your handbag! Cult Beauty is my favourite place to shop and you should make an order right now! πŸ˜‰ They currently have a summer goody bag offer on which I got before the weekend and just blogged about if you want to see what’s inside? It’s worth over Β£175 and free when you spend Β£110 and you also get a discount code for 15% off when you apply YOU15 at the checkout! If your stuck on what to buy I can highly recommend the new Jouer Mermaid Collection it’s absolutely beautiful πŸ™‚ xx

  • I’ve never tried anything from Nudestix but have heard great reviews! I use a green cream concealer on any red blemishes I have from time to time and then apply a normal skin coloured one on top and then may foundation, and it really does work for flawless skin, sounds like a lot of makeup but if you only apply a tiny layer of each it really isn’t!!

    • Wow love this tip!! The sad thing about this blemish stick is the fact it doesn’t contain a green tint which would have worked better for covering spots, redness and scars! I noticed Cult Beauty have brought out 4 or 5 different pots with different colours to cover imperfections and they have a green one for redness and spots so thinking about getting this next month for my skin! πŸ™‚ x

Personally I tend to prefer products that are more of a creamy texture but this stick does still sound really interesting. Thank goodness it doesn’t go on green either!

    • This is creamy but takes more effort to blend, basically because when applied to the skin it’s invisible so you just have to work the product around the areas needed! And I wish it did go green ha,ha! I think this would have made the product better in my opinion as green helps to balance redness and blemishes to cover them up before applying foundation on top for a natural finish! x
