With so much beautiful fancy candles on the market, you almost often forget about the more budget-friendly brands and get lost in all the hype of the new 'it' candle. Candles play a huge part in my everyday life and I can't even remember the last time I wasn't burning a candle since moving into my own place. It creates a sense of warmth and comfort when burning your favourite candle and not to mention the gorgeous scent your chosen candle lets off throughout the house.
Flamingo Candles are amongst my favourite luxury organic candles at the moment and all three of these candles that I have at the moment are generously sweet and just make me happy. I enjoy how uplifting these scents are and how they look just as pretty as they smell! The packaging really sucks you in with the cute flamingo logo on the front and nifty retro sweet jar design. I could see myself re-using these jars to put candy/sweets inside or my makeup brushes if my collection starts to expand from my current storage; in all honesty, you have so many options with these to recycle.
Strawberries and cream was an instant hit with me and something I love to burn coming into Spring/Summer for its uplifting fruity scent. It comes with a champagne base and smells really natural and even lets a strong scent when unlit. Love Bug is another fruity scent, described as a strawberry sherbet delight! It also comes with pretty flecks of glitter laced through out the wax and this was actually a limited design that's no longer available on the website.
Cheesecake Crunch is a rich scent of brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cocoa, maple, walnut, citrus and caramel. This is actually my favourite from the three and I love them all but this has a gorgeous scent you can burn all year at any time of the day.
If the scent and packaging aren't enough to lure you in then maybe the natural soy wax and organic ingredients will? The wicks are made from natural cotton and burn really well and it's a natural fibre! I've never had any problems with my candles and they burn evenly without leaving any leftover waste at the bottom of the jar. I've seen these candles lasting so long and that in turn gives good value for money. The soy-wax used to produce these candles is made from earth grown soybeans, making it natural and biodegradable and not tested on animals. I think what's most interesting about these candles is the fact they contain no traces of pesticides, herbicides and toxic materials.
