Madame La La Tan Light

With spring now here and in full bloom I’ve been reaching for the fake tan more recently and got introduced to Madame La La just before Christmas which you can view my post on here featuring the face bronzing serum; I think this is my new favourite brand as I’ve been completely obsessed with the range and love how natural the finish is especially in this full body tan.

Product Details: Madame La La Tan Light  c/o

This is a new fake tan brand and has just recently launched in Superdrug which is fantastic news for me as I’m always going into town on the weekends and having a browse through the high street. This tan is a quick drying formula with a mousse consistency that’s super easy to apply and massage the skin using a self-tanning mitt. This is the lightest of the two shades and still pretty dark in my opinion but I absolutely love it! It goes on dark but once washed off you’re left with a beautiful golden glow that looks so natural and it actually lasts much longer than other brands I’ve used in the past and stays on for a good 4-6 days without the need to re-apply beforehand.

It’s streak free and blends beautifully, this giving the perfect finish and I normally leave it to sit for a good 4-8 hours but you can leave it on for longer if you wish. The Madame La La tans come without that awful biscuit smell that lasts on the skin for hours and it actually comes with the most subtle of scents as it is slightly perfumed but nothing hugely noticeable. This tan just like the face tan leaves the skin with an olive tone that doesn’t fade orange or make it look un-natural after a couple of days after the first initial wash. It fades evenly and naturally making it, even more, easier to use a scrub all over before re-applying your fake tan at the end of the week for a fresh layer if you wish to continue topping it up every week.

The body tan has been advertised as lasting over 10 day’s, however, I feel this is slightly inadequate especially for my skin tone because it’s so light that I feel more confident to top up every 5-7 days. If your skin tone is naturally darker than pale then I could definitely see this lasting the full 10-day guarantee. What I love most about the Madame La La tans is the fact they come crammed with up to 80% organic ingredients. It leaves my skin so soft and hydrated with its anti-ageing ingredients and naturally glowing skin! It also helps to slim and tone and this is perfect for the legs especially during spring/summer.

Have you tried Madame La La yet? Would you consider switching to this brand for its natural ingredients?

Your knee socks are lovely! I have never tried fake tanning or any products like this other than lotion, but I’ve heard about this brand before! I definitely would give it a try, since I don’t like to actually tan in the sun. Thank you for the review love!

I am super pale, but I never really got into the whole fake tanning game… I did try one product like that, but it was kind of streaky, so I just passed on that 😀 Maybe I should give something new a chance 😀 Great review xx

I’ve not heard of this brand before but maybe I’ll give it a try next time I run out of my trusty bondi sands as it sounds like a lovely product!

Seems like a wonderful product! I’m very fair so I’m not sure if it would work on my skin tone, but will check it out!

I need to try this, though I’m usually allergic to the ingredients in most self tans but I still find myself trying new ones just in case! J

This brand has been making huge waves in the beauty blogsphere recently, it’s good to know that it performs well too. I personally don’t use any tanning products because I’m naturally very tan but this would be such a great option for anyone who does use it.

I’m seriously so over pale skin and dark weather, bring on a sunny Spring and Summer is all I can say!! I actually fake tanned last night as I was getting so bored of being borderline transparent! I think I’m going to have to try this one out, especially as it’s in Superdrug 🙂

It looks lovely on you! Alas, I’m ghostly pale. As in Jessica Chastain has darker skin than I do, so it just wouldn’t work for me.
