Merumaya Gentle Exfoliating Toner

Powered by Natural Alpha Hydroxy Acids to balance the skin with hydrating and softening ingredients that’s exactly what the Merumaya Gentle Exfoliating Toner does. This is gentle enough to use everyday and doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight and leaves it feeling really clean and refreshed! I normally prefer to use this at night when I’m not using my Alpha H Liquid Gold Tonic as it’s not as abrasive and works as a light exfoliant.

Product Details:  Merumaya Gentle Exfoliating Toner*

Developed and produced in Great Britain using the best ingredients, this toner gives great value for money and it’s refreshing to have something produced locally that’s really efficient and something I will continue to use every other day. After trying out the Merumaya Mud Marvels mask I was excited to see what the toner had in store after enjoying the mask and how well it worked for my skin. This toner was certainly not a disappointment and something I’ve enjoyed using alongside other resurfacing toners in my collection. The reason why I use resurfacing toners more than your everyday toner is the fact I feel these work much better for my skin type and do a thorough job at removing excess dirt/make-up after cleansing and leaving my skin oil free and helps combat acne and blemishes.

Like all resurfacing toners the Merumaya gentle toner works exceptionally well at plumping and hydrating the skin and giving an overall youthful appearance. It’s gentle enough to use everyday too; unlike other heavy duty resurfacing toners that can strip the skin if used frequently.  My favourite ingredient would be the Hyaluronic Acid as this is the magic ingredient that helps to reduce acne scarring and redness by peeling away the dead skin; it also contains a complex of natural AHAs and natural Betaine combined that benefit and soften the skin and boost hydration this giving it a new lease of life.

I’ve really enjoyed how well this works for me and how gentle it is on the skin and doesn’t leave it feeling tight or over worked! It leaves my skin feeling and looking fresher and balances it out perfectly. I love how these toners work as exfoliators as my skin benefits more from this as it helps to treat blemishes and keeps my skin in the best condition it can be. The scents beautiful and different to anything else I’ve used before; it actually reminds me of baby powder but much more mellow. After applying a small amount to my cotton wool pad I would gently sweep the product over my face and concentrating more on problem areas such as my jawline, chin and cheeks. You do feel the product working as it leaves a slight tingle on my skin whilst it’s working in and I actually enjoy the feeling as it’s great to know the product is working.

Have you tried anything from Merumaya before? What’s your favourite Resurfacing Toner?

xo, Jenny

I love that this could combat acne scarring, I feel like I’m always looking for products to fade my scars but I don’t actually ever tend to gravitate toward toners weirdly!
