MooGoo Skincare Range

Mixing up my skincare favourites is something I do often. I always find my skin reaps the full benefits of each product when mixing between brands and formulas. Thus, I wanted to share a new brand I recently discovered called MooGoo; an Australian company with a whole range of natural and gentle skincare products.

krystelcouture, moogoo, soothingmsmbalm, skinbalm,

The packaging’s really fresh and the design compliments the brands aesthetics with the cute cow illustrations and skincare information to the front. These skincare products have been my daily saviours during the winter months and I’ve really enjoyed using these and feel they’ve helped immensely with dry skin, redness and irritation from the environment and weather conditions.

The MooGoo Soothing MSM Cream* has been my favourite from the brand as it’s handbag friendly with the small tube design and light to carry around with me everywhere. It has skin calming properties and induces hydration, which comes in super handy when my hands are dry from the constant changes in weather and coming in from the cold to the warmth can also affect my hands and leave them feeling dehydrated and itchy. I think the combination of Sweet Almond Oil, Organic Sulfur, Coconut Oil, Natural Vitamin E and Aloe Vera really help boost moisture quick and give relief to my sore hands when they’re most in need of a moisture boost. You first apply this to damp skin, then as required but in all honesty I’ve been using this like a hand cream and it’s worked great for me using it this way! It’s hard to describe the smell; it’s more like a subtle play dough scent with a creamy almond after scent. The fact this contains honey and other natural skin healing ingredients, I’ve noticed when applying it to my face in the evening that it helps to calm redness and sooth my acne.

The Milk Wash* has come in extra handy for using all over; I like that it’s a multi-purpose product and works efficiently as a facial cleanser and removes all of my make-up really well! I was actually surprised as to how well this works as a cleanser. Another great use for is the fact you can also use it as a body wash and lathers up successfully, giving efficacious results used either way. The Milk Wash uses five different natural cleansers which are all deprived from coconut and glucose. Having small amounts of multiple cleansers can make for much lower irritation and it works out as more environmentally friendly. This formula was originally created for the face but it’s now been expanded as an all over body cleanser and comes in a handy large bottle with disposable pump to easily work the product into my wash cloth/bath lily. Packed with Milk Protein, skin conditioners and coconut, this cleanser helps reduce dryness of the skin and promotes flexibility. I enjoy using this in the evenings as a body wash as it lathers quickly and leaves my skin super soft and healthy, I also use this as a face cleanser to remove make-up and then go in with another cleanser as part of my second cleanse routine.

A great balm for skin prone to Eczema, Dermatitis and Psoriasis; The Irritable Skin Balm* works deep into the skin and leaves a slight film that protects and hydrates the hands over time. The film isn’t sticky or noticeable but it does sit on the skin for a good three-five minutes as it works its way in gradually giving the best possible results. I always find my wrists get mild dermatitis and this can be itchy when left without being treated with a highly moisturising cream. This has worked great on dryer areas and relives discomfort almost straight away. Again this cream just like the Soothing MSM cream comes packed with soothing ingredients such as Sweet Almond Oil, Aloe Vera and Natural Vitamin E. This cream however has a more uplifting scent with creamy undertones of milk and sweet almond, it’s a much more calming scent compared to the MSM cream.

What’s your thoughts on this range? Have you tried it before?
