Having used and loved various Nip and Fab products in the past I was eager to give the Viper Venom range a try after noticing ASOS discounting many top beauty brands a couple of months back. The Nip and Fab Viper Venom eye fix eye gel has been something I’ve wanted to try for so long and it was a great travel essential during the summer months with the cooling gel formula.
Product Details: Nip and Fab Viper Venom Eye Fix Gel
HOW DO I APPLY IT?
This range is for more mature skin types with it’s wrinkle busting properties but I enjoyed using it for the roller ball add on compared to my normal creams as it gives a faster hydration boost to the skin especially in the mornings and just makes my eyes feel wide awake. Another trick I do is place my eye creams in the fridge so every morning they work even harder to make my eyes feel more cool and awake.
WHY I LIKE IT?
The thing I love most about Nip and Fab is the mix of natural ingredients such as Red Algae extract, one of the main ingredients in Viper Venom eye fix! This specific ingredient helps to brighten the look of dark circles. Liftonin is the main tightening ingredient in this eye gel and you can really feel it getting to work a couple of seconds after application, my skin feels like its gradually tightening and just feels firmer and hydrated. The roller ball applicator makes this super easy to apply and most importantly gentle on the skin as it doesn’t pull or drag the skin whilst applying. The tightening effect is something I like as it lets me know the product is actually working and I do notice a reduction in puffiness and it just makes my eyes feel and look more awake in the mornings. I don’t have bad dark circles so it was hard to notice a huge difference in brightness but this wasn’t a huge concern for me and I just wanted a product that worked to tighten and hydrate the eye area and this fits the bill perfectly.
WHY I DONT LIKE IT?
The only concern I do have with this product is the fact you can’t really tell when the product is running out because of the way the gel applies, compared to your everyday eye creams. This isn’t a huge problem as mines has lasted a good couple of months now but I do feel you might get more from an eye cream for your money; but with that being said at least you know the gel is working when you feel it activating once applied to the eye area.
