This little primer has been an absolute godsend! Honestly, I don’t even know why I went without using primer until now! The Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer goes on like a thick cream and dries up almost instantly to create an even base, ready for your eyeshadow application.

WHY Do I like IT?
This little gem has changed the way I look at eyeshadow and it just brings out the natural pigment of each shade to make it look much more vibrant and it stay’s in place all day! I’ve used this in the warmest of conditions and it still stays perfectly in place with no creases insight or colour fade. My skin is oily so I’d expect this to not work as well in the heat, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well this performed and kept my eyeshadow in perfect condition.
Before using primer, I used to remember working for ages getting my shadow just right, for it to the then crease and loose its appearance over a couple of hours or even less! However, with the use of this it’s made my shadow stay in place all day and still look perfect at the end of the day. It’s definitely something every makeup enthusiast needs in there make-up drawer! Finding the perfect balance when it comes to having oily skin can be somewhat of an ongoing task but this gives a really matte finish on my skin and doesn’t look shiny or feel greasy when applied.
WHAT I DISLIKE ABOUT IT?
I have no faults with this but non-make-up wise it can stain your carpets, so be warned! I accidentally got some on my carpet and it was really hard to remove, almost so that I couldn’t get it completely removed. Speaking of stubborn stains, I’d also recommend getting a specific eye makeup remover specially designed for removing eye makeup as this really sets your eye makeup, making it more difficult to remove with your regular cleanser.
HOW DO I APPLY IT?
This is the original formula and applies smoothly to the skin in a nude, invisible shade that just blends effortlessly with the skin! I do however love the Eden formula as this contains tiny shimmer particles that also work as highlighters/shadows. Again Eden, Sin and Greed create matte finish but do have the shimmer finish, which I personally love, whereas the original formula comes without. I normally apply this straight from the tube using my fingertips to gently apply the product and create an even base for my eyeshadow, but you could use a small eyeshadow brush if you prefer.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Product Shelf Life: 12 Months
