The first thing I noticed about the lanolips everyday hand balm was how pretty the packaging was! It’s so mesmerising, and just really draws you into the product…

WHY Do I like IT?
Apart from the attractive packaging, this balm also comes in a pretty light pink cream that’s very thick in texture and easily blends and absorbs straight into the skin. I can definitely notice a difference in how soft my hands feel after applying this and how hydrated they look and feel after application. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave a sticky film on the skin like some hand creams can do, it’s like a protection barrier but sometimes this puts me off some hand creams as it doesn’t absorb into the skin as quickly as I’d like it too. I find the packaging perfect for travelling with and popping in my handbag for day’s out, as it also comes in a bottle that you just squeeze to get the exact amount you want and it feels sturdy enough that the lid shouldn’t break. It also comes packed with beautifully scented rose oil, but this is very hard to smell unless you’re really looking for it, I just find the scent really faint but do like how it’s animal cruelty-free and contains added keratin for nail health.
HOW DO I APPLY IT?
This does absorb quickly but with a little effort, firstly you need to really work it into the skin by massaging in and this just warms the skin up to absorb the cream and leave your hands hydrated. The cream does sink into the skin beautifully and leaves no residue, you just need to make sure it’s properly rubbed in for optimum results. I personally wouldn’t use this on a daily basis as it’s very rich and excellent for dry/damaged hands, so that’s why I prefer to use it as a deep nightly hydrating treatment every 2-3 day’s, and find it works great over a long period of time, and leaves my hands prepped for the next day, not to mention super soft.
WHAT DO I DISLIKE ABOUT IT?
In all honesty, you can’t really go wrong with this hand cream, but I would have loved a stronger rose scent! I find the scent almost un-noticeable from the tube and even more so when absorbed into the skin! I guess some people prefer this as it’s great for those sensitive to scents, as you can’t smell the rose very well at all, making it almost scentless in my opinion…
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
A great option for dry hands or those looking for a nightly hand treatment (how I like to use it) as you don’t need much at all and I could definitely see this tube lasting a good two months, if not longer with daily use.
