I am more than inspired by flannel shirts at the moment and just feel they’re one of the easiest pieces in my wardrobe to just throw on and look like I’ve made some sort of an effort…

Outfit Details: Shirt: Monki (Similar) / Shoes: Nike (Similar) / Jeans: Liquor and Poker / Necklace: The Serpents Club

This Monki shirt has actually been with me for some time now and it’s a piece I constantly wear! The fabrics pretty thick and structured making it the perfect layering piece for spring and I loved how well the colours went with my pink and black Nikes. I find the different shades of pink and red really compliment these blue extreme ripped boyfriend jeans and just add a nice pop of colour for warmer day’s and takes me away from my constant black outfits!

This is a typical laid back look for me and something I’d wear when I’m feeling a little lazy πŸ˜‰ I still find itΒ relativelyΒ chic with the dark lipstick and shiny hair to just add a certain element of effort and love howΒ retro looking this outfit can be with the flannel and ripped jeans. I added a slightly modern twist with one of my favourite necklaces at the moment from The Serpents Club and that’s the extra large quartz crystal attached to a chunky gunmetal chain and sparkly pyrite, definitely a statement piece for summer!

Will you be rocking flannels during spring/summer?

xo, Jenny

This isn’t a look I’d usually go for but I love how it looks on you. And the fact the flannel shirt matches your trainers is a cool feature as well.
