The Merry Marshmallow Yankee Candle was new for Christmas 2013Just like Christmas Cookie, this comes with a warm sweet scent that can be used all year round! The wick is very thick and long meaning you will get your full use out of this jar. Sometimes I find on other candles the wick folds in on itself and does not last long and burns out more easily, making it non-usable, but with these, you don’t need to worry about that ever happening!

Candle:  Yankee Merry Marshmallow  *Limited Edition
The scent is very light, giving off warm comforting scents of vanilla and marshmallow, making it perfect for night or day to lightly scent the house. I do prefer lighting this in the evening as it lets off a nice creamy concoction of comforting scents, making it perfect to burn whilst sipping your hot chocolate, and generally winding down for the night. I don’t find this scent over powering, it’s very mellow and smells perfect at night time! This jar also packs a long burning time of 30-40 hours. The scent really does replicate marshmallows well giving a nice natural smell throughout the house and lasts ages and works as a great pick me up if you’re ever feeling somewhat down! 🙂
Just like the other candles from the Yankee range the jar is very sturdy and presents itself well making it nice to have as decoration, and not just a typical candle, as the scent is naturally very potent that you can smell it perfectly without lighting, but it’s always nice to light it in the evenings to create a nice atmosphere and warm your room up. If however, you prefer to store your candles away keeping the lid on can also have its positives by locking in the scent for a more strong release when lighting the next time you decide to use it.
Whats your favourite winter candles at the moment? Have you tried this?

xo, Jenny

I have not tried that candle yet, but I’ll have to go to the store and get one! My favorite winter candle is Our Own Candle Company’s French Vanilla candle 🙂 I’m actually going to talk about it my next favorite of the weeks post! It comes in a Mason jar and smells heavenly.

Yankee Candles are SO bomb! Whenever my boyfriend sees them at a store we seriously have to spend half an hour sniffing every single one of them!

    Have a great week!

Oooh a scent for me possibly! Because it’s summer here I’m liking lighter scents such as lemongrass or jasmine. I’ve even been burning incense from time to time. xx
