SMYTHSON POCKET NOTEBOOK

Smythson pocket notebook, hand-embossed in the finest of materials, this little book will last years and comes in extra handy for on the go note jotting. If you’re like me and find your mind in over drive, with lots of different ideas and general things to take notes of such as dates, times and events, then this is the notebook for you!

smythson of bond street, leather notebook, follow your dreams,
The notebook comes beautifully packaged and presented, with specially-trademarked, super-thin paper, making this weightless to hold and touch. Perfect for carrying around in your handbag or pocket, and almost effortless in design, the simplicity really is breathtaking, and not to forget the craftsmanship involved in the process of making this tiny pocket note book. This beautiful lightweight portable notebook not only looks incredible, but each individual featherweight page inside this notebook has been watermarked with a distinctive globe and feather design, barely visible to the naked eye.

Creating this unique watermark on each page to protect against copyright and counterfeiting, it goes through a specialist mill process in England that also produces international security and banknote paper. The paper inside the notebook is pale blue in colour and very light to touch! The notebook is made from a strong and hard-wearing floppy leather, making it easy to fold, bend and squash whilst improving with age, making this a great investment piece if you’re looking for something that will stand the test of time. You can select from a variety of pocket notebook colours, quotes and designs on the Smythson website to fit in with your personality and style, making it a nice gift option or a special treat for yourself.

Each binding handmade with stitched spines and gilt-edged pages, made from luxurious cross grain lambskin leather, making this piece very durable. You can use a variety of different tools from fountain pens, ball point pens and pencils. I would personally avoid using roller ball or marker pens because the paper is so thin it might not be able to hold the ink and ruin your work. This notebook truly is a pleasure to hold and own and I find it very durable and easy to use with the relaxed spine, making it a dream to open and write down all your thoughts, dreams and day to day notes. Simplicity at its finest, and definitely something that’s worth having for the most enthusiastic of stationery lovers.

xo, Jenny

I love notebooks. There’s so many times when I’m out and about or wake up in the middle of the night and I just have to write something down. The packaging really is so lovely, I’ve never heard of Smythson before so thanks for the review! x Jenn

Thanks so much 🙂 and I had this problem too and always left notes everywhere but it got to the point I lost half and forgot where I placed the rest haha!! So I try and stick to one place to take notes now, less complicated 🙂 x
