CONTROL SHINE AND PRIME

Very different to other primers I have used in the past and I love the texture and consistency of this product. It’s very unusual and thick! It leaves a matte finish and controls shine, making your make-up last all day long!

Sleek Control Shine and Prime contains a special ingredient extracted from sandstone, this super mineral called “silica” basically controls and absorbs excess oil, sweat and moisture, this in return reduces shine, making it great for oilier skin types. Another important ingredient in this primer comes under “Silicones” and what this does is create a barrier on the surface of the skin to fill in fine lines and wrinkles, making them appear much smaller and un-noticeable.

The product comes in a fleshy toned shade, almost white and it glides onto the skin nice and even, without the need to use much product and you end up with beautiful glowing skin. The formula is non-drying and leaves my skin baby soft and very smooth all day! I really like how this makes my skin feel and look. Although the texture of this product is thick, it is surprisingly lightweight once applied to the skin and keeps my make-up looking fresh all day.

Have you tried this primer?

  • Nooo, I haven’t tried this one yet! I do love that it has silica as an ingredient, though. Have you tried putting silica powder on top of your foundation? Doing that will create the “HD effect.”

This is my first ever primer tbh! I normally stick to BB creams as I don’t like using too much products on my face in case I break out bad! but this is lovely and very light xx

  • You had me at “matte finish”. Sounds like the kind of thing I need in my life right now, especially! xx

This looks wonderful! This sounds like it would be right up my alley. Anything that absorbs excess oils without drying my skin out is always of interest to me. Thank you so much for sharing! And your blog is gorgeous by the way! I LOVE your logo.
