If you’re looking for a cleanser that works in balance with sensitive, dry skin then this is definitely the cleanser of choice for you! It has a thick creamy consistency and completely removes all traces of make-up.
Cleanser: The Body Shop Aloe Calming Facial Cleanser c/o
It’s very light on the skin and you don’t need much to get a full coverage application to remove face and eye make-up! It works perfectly at doing both without the need for eye make-up remover. My skin is not sensitive and more on the oily side compared to dry, but I do notice in the winter my skin does start to get dryer due to the environment and weather. I find the cleanser easy to remove with a hot cloth and it only takes a matter of seconds to apply and remove, it’s very gentle and calming on the skin and the effects last a good couple of hours after removal.
My skin is left feeling soft, balanced and more calm, my redness is reduced and my complexion looks much more even! Since using this my skin feels more hydrated and softer after removing the product, and I have also noticed an improvement in my skin with no signs of blemishes or blocked pores. This definitely does the job and leaves your skin fresh and clean, it will come in great for dry, sensitive skin but also combination, even if you suffer with slightly drying skin during the colder months you should give this a go and hopefully you will notice an improvement too.
The only concern I have with this cleanser is the fact it’s difficult to come out when you have used half of the bottle up, making it hard to get the product out! I have to shake vigorously before squeezing the bottle to get the cleanser out, but the bottle packaging is pretty damn tough. This is nothing major and it doesn’t compromise on the quality of the cleanser and the results. I am really happy with this and feel it will last a good couple of months when used once daily! Also because its packed full of natural ingredients the expiry date is less, and this particular cleanser will only last you 9 months before it expires.
What’s your thoughts on this cleanser? Do you suffer from dry/sensitive skin?
