A couple of months back I was lucky enough to win this gorgeous tropical print dress from the fashion targets breast cancer competition over at one of my favourite blogs www.thestylerawr.com. I don’t really consider myself lucky but every year or two I do have the occasional dose of luck! 😉
TROP50 Silk Tropical Print Dress, Richard Nicoll – £550* (Gift)
This dress really is beautiful and so luxurious with the soft silk fabric giving so much volume and texture! It also features a gorgeous bold tropical floral print in the most brightest hues you could imagine. This dress would look perfect during summer but me been me I went for a nice Autumn look as this dress is very versatile and you can do so much different looks with it! Only 50 dresses have been made in this design and print to represent the new Tropicana drink back in March that contains 50% less sugar so it feels nice to be wearing something so special and unique.
I have gone for a classic fitted look by adding a belt around the waist as this dress is very boxy in shape and fits all shapes and sizes. I teamed the dress with some chunky velvet boots to toughen it up a little followed by my trusty leather crop jacket with strong shoulders and the most gorgeous buttery soft textured leather I have ever felt. I just love this crop jacket as it fits in perfectly from day to night making it the perfect cover up during winter for dresses if you prefer something more lightweight and easy to carry.
I have not been blogging much this week as the cold has hit me in the worst possible way and we are only into November so it’s a great start. I have been bed bound most of this week and stuck in front of the TV catching up on New Girl among other things that including working night shift.
I hope everyone else is well and enjoyed the weekend even if it is mega chilly outside 😀
