I have been using this for some time now, as it lasts months due to the larger container compared to normal sized shampoo bottles.
Matrix was the main brand we worked with in my local college on my Hair Course and since then I have been dying to get my hands on it, however it was much harder than I originally anticipated. Lucky enough I managed to find it through capital hair and beauty however some of the products can not be delivered to my location which was upsetting. Matrix is a London based company and provide to salons just for professional use so it’s hard to get these online through retail stores especially the large editions but if you live in England you might find it easier to get 🙂
What I love most about this product is the amount of shine it produces and leaves your hair feeling very light and giving maximum volume at the same time! Unlike other hydrating shampoos I have used in the past it does not weigh down my hair which is a nice factor. The hydration is perfect for summer especially when your hair is more prone to damage from the sun and heat leaving it feeling very dry and brittle.
Like I mentioned before the larger bottles last months giving extra value for money and they really do go along way as the texture of the product is very thick so you only need a small amount to get a very nice lather going. Once your hair is damp and you begin to apply the product you notice that the product gets every piece of hair which is great for long thick hair like mine and it works through amazingly and leaves hair feeling very clean and smooth.
Matrix Biolage Hydratherapie Shampoo 1000ml, £15.80 (Amazon)
This shampoo also boosts Aloe Vera + Anti Dry Care giving the hair intense moisture and protection against environmental damage. I also like the fact the shampoo does not contain parabens as these can strip the hair of colour instead this shampoo protects the hairs colour so it will not fade away and stay in for a longer period of time prolonging the effect and enhancing the colour.
I love trying different shampoos as sometimes my hair gets to used to the same product so I like to change about now and again but I will definitely be buying this again in the future as I love it!
